Keto Butter Chicken

The most common complaint I hear from people about eating a ketogenic diet is that they are bored with what they are eating. Well this is a perfect example of a delicious meal that is loaded with fat, low in carbs and delicious!!! Lots of flavor. I served mine over riced cauliflower but I have to admit I went back for seconds with just the sauce and meat. It’s that good!!!

So when you are sick of eating meat and a veggie or chili or taco’s with cheese shells (Yes I’ve been there so I can totally sympathize) let’s try another amazing dish. Feel free to adjust seasonings according to your heat preference. I am kind of a wimp.

Keto Butter Chicken


6 tbsp Butter, salted

2lb Boneless, skinless chicken breast

4 tsp  Minced Onion (dried)

2 Garlic Cloves minced

3 tsp Garam Marsala

1 tsp Ginger, ground

1 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp Cumin

0.5 tsp Ground Cayanne Pepper

1 cup Tomato Sauce

2 cups Cream

1. Cut up chicken into 1 inch cubes
2. Place half of the butter into the pan as well as the chicken and cook until it’s white all of the way through. 2-3 minutes
3. Place the rest of the ingredients into the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
4. Either eat plain or serve over riced cauliflower. (nutrition facts below do not include cauliflower)

  1. Well this definitely looks like it’s packed with flavour! I’ve been reading and hearing about keto for a while now and if this is the kind of dish that’s “allowed”, I need to look into it more!
